What do I need to bring to my Album cover design?

Who owns what copyright and when?
On ideahits, designers commit to uploading only original artwork. Each designer retains the rights to their design submissions until you select a contest winner. During the design handover stage, the designer agrees to transfer the rights to you, making you the owner of the album cover’s copyright.

What If I have more than one album or need additional sizes?
Your custom album cover contest includes one winning album cover. If you require a second cover or an additional size for a CD or vinyl cover, you have several options: you can award multiple winners, initiate a second contest, or begin a 1-to-1 Project with your winning designer to create the additional assets.

We offer a 100% money-back guarantee within 60 days of payment for all Album Cover Art Contests, except those with a guaranteed prize or those that have entered the Final Round. You can also call us anytime for assistance with rewriting your brief, reopening your project to ensure a good result, and selecting a winning design.
